STREEETSCAPE
PROJECT HAS STARTED
We ask that you be patient as we spruce up Downtown.
If you are travelling downtown for shopping, dining and events,
please note there is metered parking along Market Street,
a free lot off of Second Street and our newly improved lot
off of Broad Street.
Our
merchants will remain open during construction, so please
support them during our renovations. OMI, the Oxford
Area Chamber of Commerce, the Oxford Arts Alliance and the
Oxford Public Library will continue their programming and
events.
We
will post updated photos of the construction - better yet
- stop downtown and check out the improvements for yourself!!

the first week in August, construction is expected to cross

Oxford
is a National Historic District!

The
Oxford Historic Commission has worked diligently to form a
historic district within Oxford. Their hard work has
paid off with the Oxford Historic District being added to
the National Register of Historic Places. Oxford is
one of the largest districts in the state with over 500 contributing
resources. Click here to view the Oxford
Historic Map and the Oxford
Plaque Order Form. If you are unsure if your property
is in the Historic District, please call or stop by the OMI
office.
